Shake your groove thing - 30% off dance floors

It's the place Uncle Frank will embarrass himself and crack everyone up, leading the family in the Chicken Dance. At the company Christmas party, it's where is Joe from accounting breaks out of his shell to show off his Napoleon Dynamite dance moves. It's where romance blooms between two teenagers as they share their first dance. Music and dancing is the primary form of entertainment for many parties, and unless you are entertaining in a dance hall, there's a good chance you don't have a nice solid floor for people to waltz, two step, or break dance to their heart's content. People want to dance, so dance floors are a must have! 


Both of our floors are available, our traditional wood parquet is great indoor or out. Our white vinyl floor gives a clean modern look. Both floors come in 4' x 4' sections, so the floors can be assembled to the size you need. Not sure how big you need, that's what we're here for! Just ask, and we'll help you figure out how much room you need for the number of guests. Dance floors must be delivered, but assembly and break down is included in the price.

We are a proud supporter of Houston Restaurant Weeks. Throughout the month of August, you can dine at many of Houston's best restaurants, and in doing so, a contribution will be made to the Houston Food Bank. 

Participation is almost effortless. Simply visit www.houstonrestaurantweeks.com and choose any of the eating establishments listed. Make a reservation to dine there between August 1-31. You get a multi-course meal of Houston's finest cuisine for a reasonably priced $20 lunch or $35 for dinner! You eat delicious food at the restaurants of your choice and the Food Bank benefits! The list of participating restaurants is so extensive, there's a good chance you were already hoping to eat at one or several of these places soon. A customer recently threw a "Vintage Garden Party" themed Retirement party and shared the pictures with us. What a fabulous look! We love how they incorporated their own items such as tin trays, antique watering cans, and tiny clay pots used as votive cups to expand the theme throughout the house. 

The buffet table included vintage china, vintage glass cake stands and decorative stainless chafers. A lavender linen with a hemp (faux burlap) overlay bunched up in a the center was covered with votives.

The theme continued on the patio which was decorated with various potted plants, fresh cut flower arrangements and colored mason jar style votive cups. 

A frozen drink machine was set up on the patio serving the guests refreshing "backyard lemonade." The drinks were served in mason jars displayed charmingly in an aluminum box.

Sweet Country Wedding - 4/28

4/28/2012 - Navasota, TX   - Osburn-Self Wedding

Saturday was a gorgeous Texas spring afternoon. We were delighted to be a part of setting up for a large but charming outdoor wedding last weekend in Navasota. The ceremony took place on a gorgeous property in Grimes County. The beautiful countryside perfectly complimented by the subtle rustic accents in the decor. 

It started with the wrought iron lanterns hanging from shepherd hooks along the way to the ceremony site. Over 240 white Samsonite chairs perfectly aligned for the many guests to view the nuptials. 

After the ceremony the guests would be led to the two 20' x 40' marquis tents strung with globe lights and par cans, covering twenty-four round tables adorned with our new "hemp" (faux burlap) linens and fruitwood folding chairs. 

The centerpieces alternated between wrought iron candelabras with candles, and glass bubble bowls with flower arrangements. I just love the rolled pearl napkins tied with string! The simplicity of the table settings strengthened the rustic charm!

One of my favorite details of the reception: The head table, sweetly situated out in the open between the two tents, under the stars  The best part: The bride's and groom's chairs adorned hand painted "Bride" and "Groom" signs tied on with rope.  Adorable!! 

If only we'd been fortunate enough to see it all in the ambiance of the candlelight, tent lighting, and of course the stars in the Texas night sky. I'd imagine it was fit for a fairy tale!

Summer Buzzzz.... Sugar Land Skeeters and Any Occasion

What's the latest buzz around town? Baseball! 

More specifically, the Sugar Land Skeeters. And we couldn't be more excited about our new partnership with Sugar Land's brand new minor league ball club!!

How exciting for the town of Sugar Land to open a baseball stadium! Its fun for the whole family. From playgrounds, swimming pools, and carousels for families with children to enjoy. Then there's a center field ice house for the grown ups to enjoy.  It's a great opportunity for the residents of Sugar Land and surrounding areas to have something wholesome and fun to do. Who doesn't love baseball? Anyone, any age, will have a great time at this ball park. And we could not be more excited to welcome the team to town. We are looking forward to all the good times to be had supporting the Skeeters! 

As I was fortunate enough to go the 4th ever Skeeter's game tonight! As soon as my family and I found our seats, I was taken aback by the atmosphere. It was so alive. It was really about baseball. My first thought: This place is so cute! While my husband thought that was a horrible description of a baseball stadium, I feel it was so much better than a major league field. It was comfortable and cozy. The kids encountered the mascots multiple times. The players seem bigger, the field more real... being completely outdoors... it seemed to make it more about the game - almost more personal.  It has everything you need for a great night. Food, drinks and entertainment of all kinds. It was a special night with my kids, being their first ball game. And I could easily envision in this same spot; a great date night with my hubby, or a fun girls' or guys' night out. And I couldn't help but wish the stadium had been there when I was a Sugar Land high school student looking for something to do! Fun for all ages! 

It's going to be a great place for holding events too, with a picnic area that has buffet style dining for up to 500 people! It'll be a perfect place for a company party, or church or school field trip!   

I have only positive things to say. The stadium looks great, the team looks great, and I'd have to say, our billboard looks great! ;)
